"Altered Reality" is an experiment in 8D audio, a technology which re-creates a three-dimensional soundscape on headphones. There are many remixes and manipulation of existing music made with 8D audio, but pieces composed and recorded on purpose are rare. "Altered Reality" is about a mind-warping experience re-constructed in music. Artists Simone Cicconi and Elle are featured in the project, which they contributed to with amazing ideas and sounds. Needless to say that you should absolutely listen to this music on headphones, although it can be played back on normal loudspeakers as well. And yes, it is seriously scary in some moments.
